Marian Jane Mark, of Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital on Monday, January 25, 2016. Born in Round Hill, NS, she was the daughter of the late Arch and Margaret-Mae (Harnish) LeCain. She was a former employee at the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. with 29 years’ service and a member of St. Paul’s United Church.
Sister Marion, nearly a fifty year member of Fidelity Chapter, was initiated September 6, 1966. She served as Worthy Matron along with her husband Brother Ralph 1981-1982, Grand Representative of New Hampshire 1983-85 and Grand Electa 1983-84.
Marian will be sadly missed by her husband of 61 years, Brother Ralph M. Mark; children, Alan (Beth) of Riverview; Brian (Suzanne) of Charlottetown, PE and Sandra Mark (Nazif) of Saint John; grandchildren, Roderick, Laura and Logan. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Beverly and Frederick.
A Service to celebrate Marian’s life was held at St. Paul’s United Church, Cleveland Ave., Riverview, on Thursday, January 28, 2016 with Rev. Steve Berube officiating. Reception in the Church Hall following the service. Interment at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In memory of Marian, donations to the Luxor Shriners or memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
