St Stephen Chapter # 8 was again saddened to lose another member. Br. Ralph Donald Kinney passed away on April 21, 2016, husband of Sis Madelaine Kinney. Br Donald was the son of the late Ralph and Margaret (Cleghorn) Kinney.
Br Donald affiliated with St Stephen Chapter on June 18, 2007. He served in many offices and was a Past Patron of York Chapter # 13, McAdam. He lived, worked and raised his family in McAdam working all his life as a welder until his retirement and in latter years he moved to St Stephen.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Shirley (Speight) Kinney , son Dwayne and brother Milford.
Beside his wife he is survived by two sons, Donald (Elaine), Jimmy (Sherry), three daughters, Donna Johnston (Bill), Linda Scott (Terry), and Ann Leavitt, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three stepsons, several nieces and nephews.
At Don's request there was no funeral service or visitation. Funeral arrangements in care of S.O Mehan & Son funeral Home, St Stephen, NB.
"A golden gate has opened,
A gentle voice said, "Come in."
And with farewells unspoken,
He calmly entered Home."
