Philip A. Jerguson mourns the loss of Doreen Campbell

Doreen Campbell passed away Sunday February 9th, 2020 at Loch Lomond Villa. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Viola [Godfrey] Arthurs born on October 4th 1926 in Saint John and wife of James [Buddy] Campbell. Sis. Doreen was initiated into Philip A Jerguson Chapter No. 18 November 2nd 1984 and was a Past Matron of the chapter. Sis. Doreen remained active in Star as long as her health permitted. She had sung in the choir and was active in UCW of Glen View United Church now Harmony United and was also a member of Rebekkah Lodge. Doreen loved to cook and remained active in Loch Lomond Villa baking Chocolate Cake, Carrot Cake and cookies for Villa fund raisers. Besides Buddy her husband of 71 years she is survived by her daughter Sis. Linda [Joe] Fuller of Pembroke ON, son Kim[Lori] of Saint John, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Burton Arthurs, sisters Frances Shaw, and Elva Jorgenson. Visitation was held February 12th from 11:30am until 12:45pm at Harmony United Church with Eastern Star Service at 12:30 pm followed by Celebration of Doreen’s Life at 1:00pm.
