Saturday, June 19 was a sunny, very warm day but a great day to travel as many of us did to attend the reception of Sister Debbie Hill GGCCM Service Dogs in Fredericton.
Over 100 people attended to congratulate Deb and wish her well for the duration of her appointment. A very nice luncheon was served and lots of cold punch disappearing as we tried to keep cool!
We were entertained by Brother Darell Munn and Sister Eleanor Linton as soloists and Sister Norma Caswell tinkling the ivorys for our enjoyment.
Brother Doug Swan, Sister Deb's WGP did a great job as Master of Ceremonies and as he did the Introductions of the head table it was noted what a good number of their Grand Family was in attendance.
The program moved along well with remarks from all of New Brunswick's GGCCMembers and of course from Debbie as well as Doug........and we all looked forward to our air conditioned vehicles on the journey home!
Congratulations Sister Debbie and I am sure that you are very pleased with the attendance at your reception. Our jurisdiction is very proud of you and all of the work that you do for us.
