It is with great sadness the family of Marg Heighton, 89, announces her passing on Dec. 18, 2021. Marg will be deeply missed by her daughter Karen Cormier, grandchildren Laura Harrison (Tim), Steven Cormier (Monique), Scott Covey, Jason Covey, one niece Violet Cameron, one nephew Willard Cameron and great granddaughters Paris Heighton. Marg was predeceased by her husband Glenn and daughter Linda (Jim) and son-in-law Gary.
Marg held many prestigious titles as a devoted member of the Pythian Sisters, Saxby Temple #35 and was an active member of Fidelity Chapter #36. Her favourite pastimes included watching the Blue Jays play baseball, bingo and playing cards with friends. In earlier years she enjoyed cooking big meals for her family.
Marg's family would like to thank the dialysis unit of the GDH. A special thanks to Golden Years Estates for taking good care of Marg for the past four years.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Those attending the visitation will be asked to show proof of vaccination, wear a mask, and maintain physical distancing.
No Funeral Service by personal request. Interment will take place in the spring at Elmwood Cemetery.
