It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Norma Langley on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Lincourt Manor, St Stephen, NB.
Norma was born and grew up in Brockway, NB. in 1928, daughter of the late Harold and Ella Langley. After graduating from Lawrence Station High School, she attended nursing school at the Victoria Public Hospital, Fredericton, NB.
After graduating from nursing, she dedicated her life to the care of others. She worked in various hospitals and ended her career at the Saint John regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Upon retirement, she moved back to Brockway to care for her sister Joyce.
Norma and Joyce lived in St. Stephen for a short while. After Joyce’s passing, Norma moved in with her brother Armin and his wife, Betty until she went to Lincourt in 2017.
Not only a member of the United Church and Eastern Star, Norma’s other hobbies included outdoor activities and puzzles.
Norma is survived by one brother, Armin (Betty) of Old Ridge, NB., one sister, Marilyn Hansen (Asbjorn) of Perth, ON., nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at the Brockway Union Cemetery, Brockway, NB at a date and time to be announced.
